OUR HISTORY
MELT Homes is the residential development arm of MELT Property, a group of property development and investment companies, which was originally formed in 2002. In the last nineteen years, we have built over 100 properties in London, Gloucestershire, and Kent.
In 2013 MELT Homes completed the conversion of ‘The Lock Warehouse’ in Gloucester Docks, Grade II listed Victorian, former grain warehouse into 26 apartments. A picture of the completed building is shown on the right.
Our developments have won awards for their quality of design and sensitivity to their environment and surroundings.

When evaluating and structuring projects, we employ a philosophy called Design-led Development. This enables us to deliver better value for money in the properties we build. By focusing on the value that inspired contemporary design can produce, we deliver more for less.
We aim to achieve optimum mixes of complementary use and innovative design that deliver exceptional spaces, individually tailored to those who use them. We believe that the spaces people use should reflect who they are and what they believe.
SUSTAINABILITY
At MELT Homes, we actively seek out projects that demonstrate expertise in combining technologies like ground source heating, solar/hydroelectric power generation, and battery storage to produce carbon-neutral/offsetting and energy-positive homes.
We believe that climate change will be far more costly to deal with in the future if it is neglected now. So we take the responsibility of being as environmentally sustainable as possible very seriously.

We also aim to improve the areas in which we develop. We build inspiring contemporary properties that complement and enhance the places they are set in. Sustainability is high on our agenda with technologies like Ground Source Heating, Solar Panel, and Battery technology increasingly becoming a key part of our new homes.
